"Progress is so good, you got to keep it moving"
-Race to the City, the Cinematics

I've been so neglectful to my blog lately. A lot of it is due to being increasingly busy at work and the the rest of my time is being spent on my new mistress Facebook since she's so new and easy to update.

Eve and I had possibly the worst Dance Cave experience ever on Friday- the place was filled with 19 year old girls in a female to male ration of 5:1, which is not what single girls like us want. The evening started off well with the usual music and the usual crowd of regulars including Enzo, Shane's Son, and that guy who tried to pick-up Eve. Somewhere the tides turned and we bailed around 12:30, only to get catcalls from lesbians on the street before on our way for sushi.

"Everything will be alright if you just have some fun"

Saturday brought an eventful trip to Dufferin Mall, an old roommate reuinion dinner at Cafe Diplomatico, and the Mod Club. In an awesome coincidence, we met up with the rest of our group- Lauren, Patrick and The Todd- on the street and were able to head over together. I stole a lot of these pictures from Lauren's Facebook!

The Mod Club was "meh" due to a) the random band b) the DJs coming on later than usual c) no "Start Wearing Purple." A highlight was a group of drunken bachelor party attendees who jumped on the stage to shake what their mama gave them for the crowd, before one of them pulled down his pants and mooned the crowd, only to then fall off the stage and be escorted away for a lecture by security.

And because I am clearly insane, I just picked up tickets for The Bravery and The Cinematics at the Opera House in May, bringing my grand total of concerts in May to 5. And I have an extra ticket for whoever wants it.

I think we've given the poll enough time to breathe, no?
