A man asked me if I needed any help putting my lipstick on on the streetcar this morning. I said no, even though he looked like F. Murray Abraham. You know, he won the Oscar for Amadeus? Okay, who am I kidding. Maybe 3 people reading this blog know who my obscure references are. F. Murray Abraham or not, I didn’t need any help putting my lipstick on. And I knew it was going to be a good day.

Wow. Craigslist is really working for me today. Since we are in search of a new, fun roommate I posted an ad and have had 6 responses in 40 minutes. Also stellar: I managed to ditch Eve’s mattress/box spring which was given to Nayeli, who then gave it to Sofia, who didn’t really want it, so I posted an ad for a free mattress on Craigslist and got rid of it in 15 minutes. Sweet.

Not much happening: Natalie is coming for the weekend on Thursday, and now Dirk will be joining us at the BSS/Feist concert Saturday. Shane and I watched the Golden Globes together, eating chips in my bed since my bedroom is about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of my house (I kid you not). There was some heckling but not as much as you’d expect and no surprise wins for anybody. Although I did see Cillian Murphy and confirmed the fact that Eric Bana is only attractive in a retro ‘70’s hairstyle in Munich.
