“No my dog won't bite you, though it had the right to”
-Blame it on the Tetons, Modest Mouse

In the most surprising news of the decade: I came in 4th place in my office football pool and won $25! That's right: Me. Yay! I have never watched an entire football game and made my predictions randomly and by never picking Buffalo. That $25 is going straight to buying Red Eye on DVD on Tuesday.

Mairin is coming to visit tomorrow just as Eve is leaving to go back to Japan. Everyone comes and goes at the same time. Everything exciting is happening in January, leaving the rest of winter bitterly cold and boring.

“Blame it on the web but the spider's your problem now”

All the lights in my office just turned off and came back on again whish was strange. Yesterday we saw Naked Guy in the condo across from our office. By the time I noticed him he had put on pants. It’s better that way.

I’m already starting to get bored with things here. It always happens around this time of year. So what do I do to stop it? Yesterday Rusty and I started wholeheartedly looking into vacations to warmer, foreign lands for April or May. And if he’s not into anything I find, then I know I can always count on my mom to want to go somewhere. All the travel deals I find are to London and none to Dublin. I also found several deals to Italy if anyone wants to go I’ll give you the info…I don’t need to go back there for a third time, especially when I was there 8 months ago. Every year I saw that I will learn to ski and I never do. So maybe a skiing lesson will be in my future in February.

“Everyone's a building burning with no one to put the fire out”

There’s nothing else new going on and I haven’t had and funny or remarkable encounters with street people. Although that crazy Jesus guy who hangs out at King and Dufferin wearing a cape was standing on a fire hydrant this morning yelling at streetcars. He also had a beautiful yellow Hawaiian lei on which may or may not have been made out of police tape.

I haven’t been to the movies in a while (I went Monday but it feels like ages ago) so I might try to catch something today. Then again, it’s cold out so it might easily be a night to lie in bed and eat Skittles while reading magazines.

Kate and I had a discussion yesterday that I should start a food blog or at least a list of what I’ve eaten in a particular day. Although today is a little boring: Just Right cereal, an apple, a Hersey’s Cookies and Cream mini chocolate bar, and a peanut butter sandwich.

“If you find a way out, oh would you just let me know how?”

OVERRATED: Lindsay Lohan.
UNDERRATED: Jennifer Coolidge. Now click
here for something I completely forgot about.
Dan and I made this website circa early 2001 as a joke and never actually got around to making it a fully functional site.

PS. I told you Hostel was terrible.
